About Us

A Family History, rich in tradition

Sue’s Cleaners opened for business in February 2010 by Susan Goddard Jean. Susan’s parents, Ray and Ellie (Morini) Goddard opened Ray’s Dry Cleaners in Wrentham when she was just a toddler.

A graduate of Mansfield High School and Bryant College, Susan stayed with the family business until selling in 2000. While raising three children with her husband Bob, Susan stayed active in the industry. She served on the Board of Directors of the Eastern Mass Dry Cleaners Association and is a national speaker on customer relations.

Entrepreneurship is in the blood…. maternal and paternal!
Susan’s great-grandfather, Mario Morini founded Morini’s Market in the early 1900’s on Main Street, Mansfield. It now houses the Morini Art Gallery at MMAS. Her grandfather, Silvo Morini worked in the store along with his brothers until selling in 1974. Her uncle, George Goddard, was the founder of George’s Cleaners in Mansfield. Many from town would remember fondly watching shirts being pressed from the front windows.

And so the tradition continues with Sue’s Cleaners. It is a place where the owner will be present, the staff will be friendly, and your garments will be processed safely and carefully.
