2009 – 2010

With the amazing help of my longtime friend, Linda Coggeshall Nordberg, we began cleaning clothes and washing shirts. The racks were bare, but slowly, they began to fill.

In 2011, Kelley Giambanco, a longtime friend as well agreed to join as CSR.  Shortly after, my sister, Gail Goddard Achin who was currently working at New England Cleaners in NA, came to help as a garment finisher. 

Thankfully, our customers that started with us on day one, continued with us and told their friends.  Steadily, business increased.

In 2019, our storage racks needed to be expanded….an additional computer station was needed and fortunately, came the hiring of Dawn Petersen from Plainville Crossing Dry cleaners.  Dawn brings with her 30+ years in the industry as a dry cleaner/spotter/finisher.

Now with a complete staff, I have the time to share some of my knowledge of garment care with you. 

I grew up in the industry, as did Dawn. Like with everything, there has been many changes.  From the solvent we use to forms of payment to receiving text messages when your order is ready! 

But, one thing has stayed the same and it is the one reason why I love my job as I do…. THE CUSTOMER…. The connection we have with our customers is amazing!  Whether it’s getting the smallest wrinkle out of a wedding gown (on the day of the wedding) removing the stain from an heirloom piece or simply getting your shirts ready for a business trip…..we are happy to serve our customers, to help and to be that smile you needed as you rushed for the train.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to provide Mansfield with a safe alternative to cleaning their clothes. And, for all those customers who have supported our business for 15 years!!!  You rock! We are blessed.
